While breastfeeding is optimal nutrition for a newborn, not all breastfeeding experiences are perfect from the start, and sometimes professional help can make a big difference. Mothers returning to work often benefit from the guidance of a lactation consultant. Ann enjoys working with new mothers to assist with breastfeeding difficulties either through a consultation or by offering guidance in choosing a pump, scale, or herb that might help. She offers Breastfeeding Support classes and a variety of products conveniently available for rent or purchase as needed.
